BHEL General Manager (Law) Recruitment 2025

Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Application is invited for a total of 1 vacant post.

• Grade & Pay Scale: E8 Level (₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Essential:
   • Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a college approved by the Bar Council of India.
   • Degrees obtained through distance, part-time, or correspondence modes are not eligible.
2. Desirable:
   • Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Commercial, Labour, or Taxation Laws.
   • Candidates with a full-time MBA, PGDBM, or LLM are eligible for a 2-year relaxation in experience requirements.

Experience (as of January 1, 2025):

• Minimum 26 years of post-qualification experience as one of the following:
  1. Legal Practitioner in High Courts/Supreme Court representing government/PSUs.
  2. Executive in the Legal Department of Central/State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies handling:
     • Arbitration matters
     • Contract issues
     • Industrial, Civil, Taxation, or Service disputes
  3. Head of the Legal Department in a private sector organization with a turnover of at least ₹2,000 crore and an annual CTC of ₹50 lakh.
• Expertise in high-value arbitration, legal drafting, opinion rendering, and handling complex legal matters.

Upper Age Limit: 56 years as of January 1, 2025

Selection Process:

1. Personal Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview at the BHEL Corporate Office in New Delhi.
2. Document Verification:
   • Candidates must present original certificates for verification during the interview.
3. Travel Reimbursement:
   • Economy airfare will be reimbursed for candidates attending the interview upon submitting travel proofs.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹400 + 18% GST = ₹472
• SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Exempted
• Payment to be made through SBI Collect.
