Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 16 (tentative, subject to change) vacant posts in the following sectors:

1. Standards & Labeling (Appliances, Market Surveillance, etc.)
2. Demand Side Management (Agriculture & Municipal Utilities)
3. National Exam Coordination
4. Energy Management (Chlor Alkali, Soda Ash, Fertilizer, Petroleum Refinery, Foundry, and others)
5. Buildings (Energy Efficiency, Green Building Ratings, etc.)
6. Carbon Markets (Cap-and-Trade, Climate Change).

• Nature of Employment: Contractual (initially for 1 year, extendable based on performance and organizational requirements)

Remuneration:

• Senior Sector Experts: ₹1.25 Lakh per month (consolidated).
• Sector Experts: ₹1.00 Lakh per month (consolidated).

Additional benefits:

1. Employer EPF contribution.
2. Health and Accidental Insurance reimbursement up to ₹6,000 per annum.
3. TA/DA for official tours as per BEE norms.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Senior Sector Experts:
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.
  • Postgraduate/Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Energy Management/Environmental Studies preferred for specific sectors.
  • BEE Certified Energy Auditor/Manager preferred.
• Sector Experts:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant fields.
  • Sector-specific qualifications (e.g., Carbon Markets, Buildings, DSM activities) as mentioned in the detailed advertisement.

Experience:

• Senior Sector Experts: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant sector.
• Sector Experts: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant sector.

Age Limit (as of the last date of application):

• Senior Sector Experts: Maximum 45 years.
• Sector Experts: Maximum 40 years.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting:
   • Based on qualifications and experience.
2. Written Test (if required):
   • A sector-specific written examination may be conducted.
3. Interview:
   • Personal interaction with shortlisted candidates.

The final selection will be based on the candidate’s merit, sector-specific expertise, and performance in the selection process.
