Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 31 vacant posts.

Regular Vacancies:

• Total Posts: 28
  • Professor: 11
  • Associate Professor: 13
  • Assistant Professor: 4

Contract-Based Vacancies (against lien):

• Total Posts: 3
  • Assistant Professors in Social Work, English, Journalism, and Mass Communication.

Pay Scales:

1. Professor: Academic Level-14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200)
2. Associate Professor: Academic Level-13A (₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100)
3. Assistant Professor: Academic Level-10 (₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

• For Professor and Associate Professor:
  • Ph.D. in the relevant discipline with requisite teaching experience.
  • Research publications as per UGC norms (UGC Regulations, 2018).
• For Assistant Professor:
  • A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks.
  • NET/SET/SLET Qualification: Mandatory unless exempted (UGC Amendment 2021).

Age Limit

• As per UGC and government norms.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting: Based on Academic/Research Score as per UGC norms.
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,750 (₹250 processing + ₹1,500 examination fee)
• SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates: ₹1,500 (Exempt from processing fee)

   • Fill in the application form and upload the required documents:
     • Passport-sized photo, signature, academic and experience certificates, etc.
2. Submission:
   • Submit the application form online and send a hard copy via Speed/Registered Post to the university.
