The National Pension System Trust (NPS Trust) is established under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and operates under the regulatory oversight of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA). The Trust safeguards the interests of subscribers under the National Pension System (NPS) and other authorized schemes. The Deputy General Manager (IT) will lead IT initiatives, oversee governance frameworks, develop strategic technology plans, and ensure system performance and security compliance. The position is based in New Delhi, with the potential for future postings in other locations.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification | – Mandatory: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) from a recognized university. |
– Desirable: M.Sc./M.Tech in CS/IT or MCA will be an added advantage. | |
Educational qualifications must be recognized by AICTE/UGC/Government institutions. | |
Experience | – Minimum 11 years of experience in the IT field, preferably with a background in software development. |
– Out of the total experience, at least 5 years must be at the middle management level, with a minimum 3 years in the financial sector. | |
Age Limit | – Minimum: 35 years |
– Maximum: 45 years (as of December 31, 2024). | |
Age Relaxations | – PwBD: 10 years |
– Ex-servicemen: 5 years |
Selection Process:
1. Scrutiny and Shortlisting
- Applications will be screened by a Screening and Shortlisting Committee.
- Shortlisting is based on prescribed eligibility criteria (educational qualifications, experience, and age).
- If the number of eligible candidates is high, further shortlisting will be carried out to restrict the number of candidates for the next stage.
2. Stage 1: Preliminary Interview
- Shortlisted candidates from the application screening will be called for a Preliminary Interview.
- Marks obtained in this stage will not be considered for the final merit list but will be used to determine eligibility for the final interview.
3. Stage 2: Final Interview
- Candidates qualified from the Preliminary Interview will appear for the Final Interview.
- Marks obtained in the Final Interview will determine the final merit list.
Application Fee:
- General, EWS, and OBC Candidates: ₹1,000
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates: No fee (Exempted)
