Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Conservator of Forest: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering in subjects like Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related fields from a recognized university.
• Logging Officer: A Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent in relevant subjects is required.
• Forest Range Officer: A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering in relevant fields is mandatory.

Age Limit

• The minimum age to apply is 21 years, and the maximum age is 42 years as of 1st July 2025.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government norms:

  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

Selection Process:

Preliminary Examination (Objective Type):

• Subjects: General Studies and General Aptitude Test.
• Total Questions: 150
• Maximum Marks: 150
• Duration: 2 hours

Main Examination (Written):

• Compulsory Papers: General Hindi, General English, and General Knowledge.
• Optional Papers: Two subjects from the prescribed list.
• Total Marks: 775 (including 75 marks for the interview).

Physical Standards Test:

• Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards, including height and chest measurements.

Interview:

• Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview.
