The Prasar Bharati is recruiting for 01 Post of Senior Correspondent on a contractual basis at DDK Varanasi. The post requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in journalism and proficiency in Hindi and English. Candidates should have a degree or diploma in journalism or mass communication.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

• A Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field from a recognized university or institution.

2. Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in journalism or a related field.

3. Language Skills:

• Proficiency in both Hindi and English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of a regional language is preferred.

4. Age Limit:

• Candidates must be below 45 years as of the notification date (16 January 2025).

5. Preferred Skills:

• Strong storytelling and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage newsroom operations efficiently.
• Experience in both field reporting and desk roles.
