Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 71 vacant posts.

• Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Pay Level 9)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification (as of application closing date):

1. Essential Qualification:
   • Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the subjects OR Acharya (Sanskrit) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
   • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Diploma in Education (D.El.Ed) with Sanskrit specialization from a recognized university/institution.
   • Candidate must have passed Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET).
2. Desirable Qualification:
   • Knowledge of Odia language at the matriculation level is mandatory.

Age Limit (as of the application closing date):

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST/SEBC/Women: 5 years
  • PwD: 10 years

Selection Process:

1. Written Examination:
   • Objective-type questions covering the following:
     • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
     • Language and Literature (Sanskrit and Odia)
     • Pedagogy and Teaching Aptitude
2. Document Verification:
   • Candidates shortlisted in the written examination will undergo document verification.
3. Merit List:
   • Based on performance in the written examination and verification of eligibility criteria.

   • Relevant academic certificates and mark sheets.
4. Fee Payment:
   • Fee is nil.
5. Final Submission:
