OSSSC Hindi Teacher Recruitment 2024

Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 83 vacant posts.

• Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Pay Level 9)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification (as of application closing date):

1. Essential Qualification:
   • Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi as a subject or its equivalent from a recognized university.
   • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.
2. Additional Qualification:
   • Candidates with Rashtra Bhasha Ratna or Rashtra Bhasha Visharad from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan or equivalent recognized qualification will be preferred.
3. Language Proficiency:
   • Must have passed Odia at least up to the 10th standard as a language subject.

Age Limit (as of the application closing date):

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST/SEBC/Women: 5 years
  • PwD: 10 years

Selection Process:

1. Written Examination:
   • Objective-type questions covering:
     • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
     • Hindi Language and Literature
     • Pedagogy and Teaching Aptitude
2. Document Verification:
   • Candidates shortlisted in the written examination will undergo verification of their documents to confirm eligibility.
3. Merit List:
   • Final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination and document verification.
