Salary and Benefits:

• Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Geoscience Disciplines:
  • M.Sc./M.Tech in relevant Geology/Geophysics fields with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Engineering Disciplines:
  • Graduate Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.

Age Limit (as of the last date of application):

• General/EWS: 26–27 years (varies by discipline)
• OBC (NCL): 29–30 years
• SC/ST: 31–32 years
• PwBD: Additional 10 years relaxation.

Selection Process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
   • Format: Objective (MCQ)
   • Sections:
     • Concerned Discipline: 40 Questions
     • General Awareness: 10 Questions
     • Aptitude: 25 Questions
     • English Language: 10 Questions
   • Duration: 2 hours
   • Weightage: 85 marks
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
     • General/EWS/OBC: 45%
     • SC/ST/PwBD: 40%
2. Interview:
   • Weightage: 15 marks
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
     • General/EWS/OBC: 60% (9/15)
     • SC/ST/PwBD: 40% (6/15)
3. Final Merit List:
   • Based on the aggregate of CBT and Interview scores.

• SC/ST/PwBD: Exempted

Test Centers:

CBT will be conducted in cities across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and others. Candidates must select their preferred test center during the application process.
