Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 411 vacant posts under the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

MSW (Cook):

1. Matriculation and Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organization.
2. Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organization guidelines.

MSW (Mason):

1. Matriculation and Possessing certificate of Building construction/ Bricks Mason from Industrial Training Institute/ Industrial Trade Certificate/ National Council for training in the vocational Trades/ State Council for Vocational Training. Or

2. Passed certificate Class II for Mason as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification regulations, for Soldiers) from office of Records/ Centres or similar establishment of Defence.

MSW (Blacksmith):

1. Matriculation and possessing Certificate of Blacksmith or Forge Technology or Heat Transfer Technology or Sheet Metal Worker Certificate from the Industrial Training Institute/ Industrial Trade Certificate/ National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades/ State Council for Vocational Training.Or,

2. Passed class 2 course for Blacksmith as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from the office of records or centres, or similar establishment of Defence.

MSW (Mess Waiter):

1. Matriculation and Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organization.
2. Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organization guidelines.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms

Other Requirements:

• Only Male Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
• Candidates must be medically and physically fit for arduous tasks.

Selection Process:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
   • Candidates will undergo a PET to assess their physical fitness.
2. Practical/Skill Test:
   • Trade-specific skill tests will be conducted to evaluate practical proficiency.
3. Written Examination:
   • Objective-type questions covering:
     • General Knowledge
     • General English/Hindi
     • Trade-specific knowledge
4. Medical Examination:
   • Candidates must pass a medical fitness examination conducted by BRO-authorized medical officers.
5. Document Verification:
   • Original certificates will be verified before final selection.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹50
• SC/ST Candidates: Exempted
• Payment to be made via online transfer or Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favor of the “Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune.”

2. Fill Out the Form:
   • Provide accurate personal details, educational qualifications, and experience.
3. Attach Documents:
   • Self-attested copies of:
     • Educational certificates and mark sheets
     • Birth certificate
     • Caste certificate (if applicable)
     • Driving license (for Driver post)
     • Experience certificates (if applicable)
4. Submit Application:
   • Send the completed application form along with required documents to:
     Commandant, GREF Centre, Dighi Camp, Pune-411015
   • The envelope must be superscribed with:
     “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF MULTI-SKILLED WORKER (TRADE NAME)”

General Instructions:

1. Applications must be sent via post/courier only; no online applications are accepted.
2. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
3. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the tests.
4. Candidates must carry original documents for verification at the time of the test.
