The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially released the BCECE 2025 notification for admissions to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), Pharmacy, and Agriculture courses across various institutions in Bihar. Eligible candidates can apply online from 09 April to 06 May 2025. The exam will be conducted on the 7th & 8th of June, 2025.

BCECE Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

General Eligibility

• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.​
• Domicile: Applicants must possess a valid domicile certificate of Bihar. ​
• Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed or be appearing in the 10+2 (Intermediate) examination or equivalent from a recognized board.

Course-wise Eligibility

Engineering Courses (B.Tech)

• Subjects: Physics and Mathematics are mandatory, along with chemistry/computer science/biology/information technology as one of the optional subjects.

Pharmacy Courses

• Subjects: Physics and Chemistry are compulsory, along with Mathematics or Biology as one of the optional subjects.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025.

Agriculture Courses

• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics are required.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 16 years old as of August 31, 2025.

BCECE 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Mode of Examination: Offline (Pen and Paper-based)

• Medium: Bilingual—English and Hindi

• Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

• Marking Scheme:

  • Correct Answer: +4 marks

  • Incorrect Answer: -1 mark (Negative Marking)

• Duration: 90 minutes per paper
