The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE), Dharamshala, has released the official notification for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET), June 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Himachal Pradesh TET 2025 from 10 April to 30 April 2025. The exam will be conducted from 1 June to 14 June 2025.

HP TET Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test June 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• TGT (Arts): B.A./B.Com with 50% + B.Ed. or 4-year B.El.Ed./B.A.Ed.
• TGT (Non-Medical): B.Sc. (Non-Medical) with 50% + B.Ed. or 4-year B.Sc.Ed./B.El.Ed.
• TGT (Medical): B.Sc. (Medical) with 50% + B.Ed. or 4-year B.Sc.Ed./B.El.Ed.
• TGT (Sanskrit): Shastri/Graduation with Sanskrit + B.Ed./D.El.Ed.
• TGT (Hindi): Graduation with Hindi + B.Ed./D.El.Ed.
• JBT (Primary Teacher): 10+2 with 50% + 2-year D.El.Ed. or 4-year B.El.Ed.
• Punjabi Teacher: B.A. with Punjabi + B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or M.A. Punjabi + B.Ed.
• Urdu Teacher: B.A. with Urdu + B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or M.A. Urdu + B.Ed.
• Special Educator (Class I–V): 10+2/Graduate + D.Ed. in Special Education + RCI Reg. + 6-month cross-disability training
• Special Educator (VI–XII): Graduate + B.Ed. (Special Ed.) + RCI Reg. + 6-month cross-disability training

HP TET 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Questions: 150
• Marks: 150 (1 mark each)
• Duration: 2.5 Hours
• Negative Marking: None
• Qualifying Marks:
  • General: 60% (90/150)
  • SC/ST/OBC/PHH: 55% (82/150)
