UCIL Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2025

Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) invites applications for 228 Trade Apprentice vacancies across various trades under the Apprentices Act, 1961, offering skill development opportunities in Jharkhand. Selection is merit-based on ITI marks, with online applications open until February 2, 2025.

Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 228 vacant posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Matriculation (Class X) Pass
• ITI Pass in relevant trade from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training)

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 25 years as of January 3, 2025.
• Age relaxation as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories.

Other Requirements:

• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.

Selection Process:

• The selection will be based on the merit of marks obtained in ITI.

Stipend:

• The stipend will be paid as per the minimum rates stipulated in Rule 11 of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

Application Process:

1. Registration:
   • Visit the Apprenticeship Portal.
   • Register as a candidate and activate the account via email confirmation.
   • Complete the profile details and upload the required documents.
2. Application Submission:
   • After registration, apply for the desired trade and select one or more UCIL units (Jaduguda, Narwapahar, Turamdih).
   • Submit the application online before February 2, 2025.

• Matriculation Certificate & Marksheet
• ITI Certificate & Marksheet
• Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
• Medical Certificate (for PwBD)
• Aadhaar Card and PAN Card
• Aadhaar-linked bank account details
• Relevant certificates for land-displaced/project-affected persons or employee wards.

Important Notes:

• Training placement is subject to availability across UCIL units.
• Preference will be given to:
  1. Land Displaced Candidates
  2. Local candidates within a 5 km radius
  3. Wards of UCIL employees
• UCIL does not guarantee employment post-apprenticeship training.
• Incomplete or late applications will be rejected.
