Punjab National Bank is announcing the recruitment of 9 male hockey players for its Senior Hockey Team, with the recruitment being conducted offline and open until January 24, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age (as of 01.01.2025):
  • Clerical: 20–28 years
  • Subordinate: 18–24 years
• Educational Qualification:
  • Clerical: Graduation
  • Subordinate: 12th Pass
• Sports Qualification:
  • Representation in State/National/International Hockey competitions, Inter-University/School tournaments, or National Physical Efficiency Awards.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary Scale:

• Clerical: ₹24,050–₹64,480
• Subordinate: ₹19,500–₹37,815

• Up to 3 out-of-turn promotions for outstanding sports performance.
• Additional increments for national/international achievements (max 5).
• Cash incentives for medals or record-breaking in recognized events.
• Special leave and time off for training/events.
• Lodging/boarding and TA/DA as per officer entitlement during tournaments.

Selection Process:

1. Field Trials: Shortlisted candidates based on eligibility will undergo field trials to assess sports performance.
2. Interviews: Candidates with good trial performance will be interviewed for final selection.

This process is merit-based and assesses both sports and general suitability.
