Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Educational Qualification:
- Must hold an LL.M. degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized institution.
- Language Proficiency:
- Proficiency in the local language of any one of the following states:
- West Bengal
- Assam
- Meghalaya
- Arunachal Pradesh
- Sikkim
- Proficiency in the local language of any one of the following states:
- Fieldwork Requirement:
- Must be willing to travel extensively for data collection and fieldwork in the specified states.
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant Experience:
- Prior experience working with state/local authorities in any of the above-mentioned states is preferred.
- Specialization:
- Specialization or demonstrable proficiency in International Trade Law will be an added advantage.
Selection Process:
- Application Screening:
- Applications will be reviewed based on the latest CV and Statement of Purpose (SOP) submitted by candidates.
- The SOP (500 words) should highlight:
- Relevant prior knowledge.
- Experience in working with state/local authorities (if applicable).
- Language proficiency and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
- Shortlisting:
- Based on the application review, a list of shortlisted candidates will be prepared.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be notified via email.
- Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview.
- Candidates who reside outside the interview location may request an online interview in their application.
- The interview will assess:
- Relevant experience.
- Knowledge in international trade law and research methodology.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Final Selection:
- Selection will be based on the performance in the interview and overall suitability for the role.
- Selected candidates will be notified via email and may need to join immediately upon receiving the offer.
