The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I) 2025. This prestigious examination is conducted for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA, and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Naval Academy.

Vacancy Details:
- National Defence Academy (NDA): 370 vacancies
- Army: 208 (including 10 for female candidates)
- Navy: 42 (including 6 for female candidates)
- Air Force:
- Flying Branch: 92 (including 2 for female candidates)
- Ground Duties (Technical): 18 (including 2 for female candidates)
- Ground Duties (Non-Technical): 10 (including 2 for female candidates)
- Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme): 36 vacancies

Exam Centers:
The examination will be conducted at various centers across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Nationality:
Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries, intending to settle permanently in India.
2. Age Limit:
- Candidates born between 2nd July 2006 and 1st July 2009 (inclusive).
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
3. Educational Qualifications:
- Army Wing of NDA:
- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent from a recognized Board.
- Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme:
- 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Candidates appearing in the 12th Class exam in 2025 are also eligible to apply.
4. Physical Standards:
- Candidates must meet the physical standards outlined by the NDA and NA Examination guidelines.

Selection Process:
- Written Examination:
- Subjects: Mathematics (300 Marks) and General Ability Test (600 Marks)
- Mode: Objective Type
- Total Marks: 900
- SSB Interview:
- Includes psychological, intelligence, and personality tests.
- Marks: 900
- Medical Examination:
- Candidates must qualify for the medical examination conducted by the Armed Forces Medical Authorities.
