Update: Reopening and Changes Notice

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an addendum to the ESE 2025 notice originally dated 18th September 2024. The key updates are as follows:

1. Inclusion of IRMS:

• The Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS), with sub-cadres in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom, and Stores, has been added to the ESE 2025 scheme.

2. Revised Application and Correction Windows:

• New Application Window: Now open from 18th October to 22nd November 2024.
• Correction Window: Candidates can edit their application details from 23rd to 29th November 2024.

3. Updates to Eligibility and Requirements:

• Age concessions and physical standards have been revised for the newly included services.
• Changes in reservation requirements for EWS and OBC candidates have been specified.

4. Vacancy:

• 232 including 12 vacancies for PwBD, 7 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack victims, and Muscular Dystrophy, and 5 vacancies for Hard of Hearing The number of vacancies is liable to alteration.
• Now vacancies have increased to 457.
