The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024. This prestigious examination is conducted to recruit officers for various engineering positions in the Government of India. The selected candidates will be appointed to services and posts under various ministries and departments.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:Â A degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication) from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Age Limit:Â 21 to 30 years as of January 1, 2024. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.
- Nationality:Â Indian citizen or as per the rules specified in the notification.
Selection Process:
The selection process consists of three stages:
- Preliminary Examination: Objective-type questions to test general and engineering-specific knowledge.
- Main Examination: Conventional-type questions to assess in-depth engineering knowledge.
- Personality Test: Interview to evaluate the candidate’s personality, leadership qualities, and suitability for the role.
How to Apply:
- Apply online at www.upsconline.nic.in after completing One Time Registration (OTR), required only once in a lifetime. If already registered, proceed directly to fill out the application.
Modification in OTR Profile:
- Changes in OTR can be made only once, within 7 days after the closure of the first application window (deadline: 03.10.2023).
Modification in Application Form:
- Corrections to the application form are allowed from 27.09.2023 to 03.10.2023. Changes in OTR during this time must be made via the OTR platform.
Application Fees:
Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) (excepting Female/SC/ST/PwBD)
