UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites applications for the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2024. 4. Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), Chennai (Men)

Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Must be a citizen of India or meet other nationality criteria as specified in the notification.

Age Limits, Sex, and Marital Status:

• IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2001 and not later than 1st July 2006.
• INA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2001 and not later than 1st July 2006.
• AFA: 20 to 24 years as on 1st July 2025 (born not earlier than 2nd July 2001 and not later than 1st July 2005).
• OTA (Men): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 2000 and not later than 1st July 2006.
• OTA (Women): Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divorcees who have not remarried, born not earlier than 2nd July 2000 and not later than 1st July 2006.

Educational Qualifications:

• IMA and OTA: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
• INA: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
• AFA: Degree from a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

• Candidates are required to apply online using the UPSC website. One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory before filling the application form.

Application Fee: 

• ₹200/- (except for Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee).

Selection Process:

• Written Examination: Objective type questions in English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics.
• Interview for Intelligence and Personality Test: Conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
