The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced 21 vacancies for the post of Principal (Technical Education) under the UPPSC Recruitment 2025 notification. Eligible candidates can apply online for the UPPSC Technical Education (Teaching) Services Examination, 2025, from April 24, 2025, to May 26, 2025.

UPPSC Principal Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 21 vacant posts under the UPPSC Principal Recruitment 2025 Notification for the following categories:

UPPSC Principal Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the UPPSC Technical Education (Teaching) Services Examination, 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must meet any one of the following:

1. Ph.D. + First Class at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in a relevant discipline with 16 years of experience at degree/diploma level. OR

2. First Class at the bachelor’s or master’s level in the relevant discipline with 20 years of teaching/research/industry experience.

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2025):

• Minimum Age: 35 years

• Maximum Age: 50 years

UPPSC Principal Selection Process:

• UP Technical Education (Teaching) Services Exam, 2025 (Objective type, 750 marks)

• Interview: 100 marks

• Final selection is based on combined marks from both stages.

UP Technical Education (Teaching) Services Exam Pattern 2025:

Below is the detailed UPPSC Principal Recruitment Exam Pattern 2025:

• Total Marks: 750

• Papers:

  • General Hindi: 25 Questions × 3 Marks = 75 Marks
  • General Studies: 100 Questions × 3 Marks = 300 Marks
  • Subject-Specific Paper I: 125 Questions × 3 Marks = 375 Marks

• Total Weightage: 850 (Written: 750 + Interview: 100)

• Negative Marking: Yes, 0.33 marks deducted for each incorrect answer

• Medium of Exam: Bilingual (Hindi and English)
