The UP CNET 2025 (Common Nursing Entrance Test) is conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Uttar Pradesh, for admission to B.Sc., Post Basic B.Sc., & M.Sc. Nursing courses in top nursing colleges of UP. Eligible candidates can apply online from 24 March to 26 April 2025. The exam will be conducted on 21 May 2025.

UP CNET Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for ABVMU nursing admission in 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

B.Sc. Nursing (4 Years)

• Minimum Age: 17 years as of 31st Dec 2025
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed 10+2 with Science (PCB) and English with minimum 45% marks (General) & 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC)
  • Candidates from NIOS/State Open School with Science subjects eligible
• Domicile: Domicile of UP is mandatory for Govt. colleges admission.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 Years)

• Minimum Age: 17 years on or before 31st Dec 2025
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent
  • Certificate in GNM and registered as R.N.R.M.
  • Male nurses must produce proof of training in lieu of midwifery.

M.Sc. Nursing (2 Years)

• Passed B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 55% marks
• Minimum 1-year clinical experience
• Registered Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council
