Tripura PSC is recruiting for the post of Fishery Officer under the department of Fisheries by online application submission mode with pay scales up to Level 13. Eligible candidates can apply online by February 15, 2025.

• ST:18

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) from a recognized university or institute.

Desirable Qualification:

• Knowledge of Kokborok or Bengali language is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Computer application.
• Knowledge of Tripura aqua-climatic condition.

Age Limit (as of application closing date):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years (as on 15-02-2025)
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST/PH candidates: 5 years
  • Government employees: As per Tripura Government rules.

Selection Process:

1. Written Examination:
   • The exam will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) covering:
     • General Knowledge and Current Affairs
     • Subject-specific Fisheries Science/Zoology topics
2. Interview:
   • Candidates shortlisted based on their written examination performance will be called for an interview.
3. Final Selection:
   • Merit list prepared based on combined scores from the written exam and interview.

• General Category: ₹350
• SC/ST/BPL/PH Candidates: ₹250
• Payment Mode: Online through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
