The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has officially released a massive recruitment notification for 3274 vacancies for the post of Driver cum Conductor across 8 transport corporations and 25 regions in Tamil Nadu. Eligible candidates can apply online from March 21, 2025, to April 21, 2025, under the TNSTC Driver Recruitment 2025 notification.

TNSTC Driver Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 3274 vacant posts under the TNSTC Recruitment 2025 Notification for the following categories:

TNSTC Driver Eligibility Criteria:​

Educational Qualification:

• Pass in SSLC / 10th Standard
• Must be able to read, write, and speak Tamil

Driving & Licensing Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Heavy Transport Driving Licence
• Minimum 18 months of heavy vehicle driving experience
• Must have obtained:
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Badge
  • Valid Conductor Licence (on or before 01.01.2025)

Physical Standards:

• Minimum Height: 160 cm
• Minimum Weight: 50 kg

Age Limit (as of 01.07.2025)

• Minimum Age: 24 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years​
• Age Relaxation:
  • BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST: Up to 45 years​
  • Ex-Servicemen (General): Up to 50 years
  • Ex-Servicemen (reserved categories): Up to 55 years

TNSTC Driver Selection Process:

1. Written Examination
2. Practical Test
3. Personal Interview
