RLDA Recruitment 2025 Notification: The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory authority under the Ministry of Railways, has released a recruitment notification for the post of Joint General Manager (Civil) / Deputy General Manager (Civil) on a deputation basis.

Applications are invited for a total of 2 vacant posts under the following categories:

RLDA Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

For Joint General Manager (Civil) (JGM):

• Candidates must be working on analogous posts OR
• Group ‘A’ officer in Pay Level 13 or Level 12 of the IRSE cadre of Indian Railways OR
• Civil Engineering officer with an equivalent grade and 9 years of Group ‘A’ service OR
• Equivalent service in PSUs, Statutory Authorities, or Central/State Government organizations

For Deputy General Manager (Civil) (DGM):

• Candidates must be working on analogous posts OR
• Group ‘A’ or Group ‘B’ Gazetted officer in Pay Level 12 or Level 11 from the Civil Engineering Cadre of Indian Railways/Central Govt./State Govt./PSUs/Statutory Authority
• Must have a Degree in Civil Engineering with 6 years of service in Group ‘A’/’B’ OR
• A Diploma in Civil Engineering with 15 years of experience

Desirable Qualifications:

✔ Experience in Planning & Execution of Land/Estate projects
✔ Work experience related to Land Management
✔ Knowledge of Tendering processes
✔ Computer proficiency

RLDA Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:

• Screening of Applications

  • The recruitment committee will review submitted applications to ensure candidates meet the eligibility criteria.
  • Applications must include self-attested copies of APARs (last 5 years) and relevant documents.

• Shortlisting of Candidates

  • Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on qualifications, experience, and deputation norms.
  • Preference may be given to candidates with experience in Land Management, Tendering Processes, and Civil Engineering projects.

• Interaction/Interview

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interaction/interview at RLDA headquarters.
  • The tentative date for interviews will be announced shortly after March 26, 2025.
  • The interview will assess:
    • Technical knowledge in Civil Engineering and land development
    • Project management skills
    • Understanding of tendering processes
    • Decision-making and leadership abilities
