​The Income Tax Department, Hyderabad, has announced a recruitment drive for 56 vacancies across various positions, including Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Tax Assistant, and Stenographer. Eligible candidates can apply online for 56 vacancies from 15 March 2025 to 5 April 2025.

Applications are invited for a total of 56 vacant posts under the Income Tax Recruitment Notification 2025 for the following categories:

Income Tax Dept. MTS, Tax Assistant, and Stenographer Eligibility Criteria:

1. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 10th standard or its equivalent from a recognized board. ​
• Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as of 1st January 2025. 

2. Tax Assistant

• Educational Qualification: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. 
• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as of 1st January 2025. 

3. Stenographer

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as of 1st January 2025. 

Income Tax Dept. MTS, Tax Assistant, and Stenographer Selection Process:

The selection process comprises multiple stages:​

1. Shortlisting of Applications: Based on qualifications and eligibility​
2. Skill Tests:
   • Typing Test: For Tax Assistants​
   • Stenography Test: For Stenographers​
3. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates
