​The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) invites applications for 5,248 medical officer (assistant surgeon) positions in Group-A (Junior Branch) of the Odisha Medical & Health Services Cadre under the Health & Family Welfare Department. Eligible candidates can apply online before 24 April 2025 for OPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2025.

OPSC Medical Officer Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 5248 vacant posts under the OPSC Recruitment Notification 2025 for the following categories:

• Unreserved (UR): 411​
• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 2,481​
• Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC): 736​
• Scheduled Caste (SC): 1,620

OPSC Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for OPSC MO Group A Recruitment 2025, candidates must possess the following:

Educational Qualification:

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a medical college or institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Candidates must have a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961. 
• Candidates must have completed a one-year compulsory internship.

Age Limit: 21 to 32 years as of January 1, 2025.
