West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBSSC) has released the notification for the 2nd State Level Selection Test (SLST) for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers (Classes IX–X and XI–XII). WBSSC SLST Notification 2025 is released on 30th May 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for the WBSSC Assistant Teacher vacancy from 16th June 2025 to 14th July 2025. The WBSSC SLST 2025 exam will be conducted in the 1st week of September 2025 (tentative).

WBSSC SLST 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the WBSSC Assistant Teacher Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

For Assistant Teachers (Classes IX–X):

• Graduate/Post Graduate with at least 50% marks
• B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institute OR
• 4-year B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.

For Assistant Teachers (Classes XI–XII):

• Postgraduate with at least 50% marks
• B.Ed. or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. from NCTE-recognized institute

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025):

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 40 years
