The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has officially released the TNUSRB SI Recruitment 2025 Notification for 1352 Sub-Inspector posts for both Taluk and Armed Reserve categories. Eligible candidates can apply online for the TNUSRB Sub-Inspector vacancy from April 07, 2025, to May 03, 2025.

TNUSRB SI Vacancy & Salary 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 1352 vacant posts under the TNUSRB Recruitment 2025 Notification for the following categories:

• Shortfall Vacancies: 53
• TNUSRB SI Salary 2025: ₹36,200–₹1,14,800 (Level 13) + Additional allowances as per government rules

TNUSRB Sub-Inspector Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for Sub-Inspector, candidates should possess the following:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.

• Candidates in their final year/semester can apply but must produce proof of passing the degree exam before the written exam.

Age Limit (as of 01.07.2025)

• Minimum Age: 20 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years (General Category)

TNUSRB Sub-Inspector Selection Process:

The selection will be done in multiple stages:

1. Written Examination

   • Part I: Tamil Language Eligibility Test (Objective, 100 marks)

   • Part II: Main Written Exam (Objective, 70 marks)

2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)/Endurance Test (ET)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

3. Certificate Verification & Viva-Voce (10 marks)

4. Special Marks (up to 5 marks)

   • NCC, NSS, Sports achievements, etc.

• Departmental Candidates (applying for both open and departmental quota): ₹1000
