​The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited online applications for the posts of Assistant Professors for 1711 vacant posts under the Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 notification. BPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for Assistant Professors posts, candidates should possess the following:

Educational Qualification:

• Candidates must possess an MD/MS/DNB/MDS in the relevant field from a recognized institution.​
• A minimum of three years of teaching experience as a Senior Resident or Tutor in the concerned subject from a recognized medical college is required. ​

Age Limit:

• General (Male): Up to 45 years​
• BC/EBC (Male & Female) and UR (Female): Up to 48 years ​
• SC/ST (Male & Female): Up to 50 years

BPSC Assistant Professor ​Selection Process:

The selection for assistant professor includes:​

1. Academic Performance: Evaluation of marks obtained in MBBS/BDS and postgraduate degrees (MD/MS/MDS).

2. Experience: Additional marks for relevant teaching experience.​
