The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released 1007 Specialist Officer (SO) vacancies in the IBPS Recruitment 2025 notification. The IBPS SO Notification 2025 was released on July 1, 2025. Eligible individuals may apply online for the IBPS SO post between July 1 and July 21, 2025.

The IBPS SO Notification 2025 invites applications for a total of 1007 vacancies across the following categories:

IBPS SO 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for the IBPS Specialist Officer Vacancy 2025, candidates must have the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• IT Officer (Scale-I): Four-year Engineering/Technology Degree in CS/IT/Electronics or equivalent
• Agricultural Field Officer: Four-year Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a relevant field.
• Rajbhasha Adhikari: PG in Hindi with English as a subject at the Graduation level
• Law Officer:  LLB Degree and enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council
• HR/Personnel Officer:  Graduate + 2 Years Full-time PG in HR/IR/Personnel Management/Social Work/Labour Law
• Marketing Officer: Graduate + 2 Years Full-time MMS/MBA/PGDM with Marketing specialization

Age Limit (As of 01.07.2025):

• Minimum: 20 years
• Maximum: 30 years

IBPS SO Selection Process:

To be selected for the Specialist Officer (SO) position, the following processes are taken:

1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Exam
3. Personality Test & Interview
4. Final Merit List

IBPS SO 2025 Application Form Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS/Others: ₹850
• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹175
