The Central Bank of India invites applications from meritorious sportspersons for the position of Clerk (Customer Service Associate) under the Sports Quota. This recruitment is open for candidates actively involved in sports between 1st April 2022 and 31st January 2025 and should be fit to participate in future tournaments.

Central Bank of India Clerk Vacancy & Salary Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 05 vacant posts for the clerk post (Customer Service Associate) under sports quota Recruitment 2025.

• Basic Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480 (as per Bipartite Settlement).

Central Bank of India Clerk Eligibility Criteria:

Below is the detailed eligibility criteria for clerk recruitment by the Central Bank of India:

Age Limit (as of 31st March 2025)

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 28 years

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Computer Literacy: Candidates must have:
  • A Diploma/Degree in Computer Operations OR
  • Studied Computer Science/IT in high school or college.

Sports Eligibility

Candidates must have represented in any of the following competitions:

1. International Competition: Represented India in an international sports event.
2. National Championship (Senior/Junior): Represented State/UT and won a medal.
3. Khelo India University Games, Khelo India Youth Games, Khelo India Para Games, National Games, Inter-University Games: Must have won a medal or position up to 3rd place.
4. School National Games (SGFI): Represented the State School Team and won a medal.
5. Chess: Candidates with Grandmaster (GM) or International Master (IM) titles OR who participated in Chess Olympiads.

Central Bank of India Clerk Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:

The selection for clerk (Customer Service Associate) will be two-phased, with a total weightage of 100 marks:

Phase 1: Sports Proficiency (50 Marks)

Phase 2: Online Written Test (50 Marks)

• Subjects & Marks Allocation:

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks (incorrect answer)
• A merit list will be prepared based on total marks obtained (sports proficiency + written test).

CBI Clerk Recruitment Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹750
• SC/ST/PwBD: ₹100
