Vacancies:
Applications are invited for a total of 107 posts under the following categories:
- Court Master (Shorthand): 31
- Senior Personal Assistant: 33
- Personal Assistant: 43
(Vacancies are tentative and subject to administrative changes.)
Salary:
- Court Master (Shorthand): ₹67,700 (Level 11)
- Senior Personal Assistant: ₹47,600 (Level 8)
- Personal Assistant: ₹44,900 (Level 7)
In addition to the basic pay, candidates are entitled to allowances as per the rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- Court Master (Shorthand):
- Degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in English Shorthand at 120 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of computer operation and typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
- Minimum 5 years of regular service as Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/Senior Stenographer in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Statutory Bodies.
- Senior Personal Assistant:
- Degree from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in English Shorthand at 110 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of computer operation and typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
- Personal Assistant:
- Degree from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in English Shorthand at 100 w.p.m.
- Knowledge of computer operation and typing speed of 40 w.p.m.
Age Limit:
- Court Master (Shorthand): 30–45 years.
- Senior Personal Assistant and Personal Assistant: 18–30 years.
- Relaxations:
- SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules.
- No upper age limit for departmental candidates from the Supreme Court Registry.
Reservation:
Reservations for SC/ST/OBC, PwD, and Dependents of Freedom Fighters as per Government of India norms.
Selection Process:
1. Court Master (Shorthand):
- Typing Test: Minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. (10 marks).
- Shorthand Test: 120 w.p.m. with transcription (100 marks).
- Written Test: 100 questions (General English, Aptitude, Knowledge of Law, and General Knowledge) (100 marks).
- Computer Knowledge Test: Objective type (10 marks).
- Interview: 30 marks.
2. Senior Personal Assistant:
- Typing Test: Minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. (10 marks).
- Shorthand Test: 110 w.p.m. with transcription (100 marks).
- Written Test: 100 questions (General English, Aptitude, and General Knowledge) (100 marks).
- Computer Knowledge Test: Objective type (10 marks).
- Interview: 30 marks.
3. Personal Assistant:
- Typing Test: Minimum speed of 40 w.p.m. (10 marks).
- Shorthand Test: 100 w.p.m. with transcription (100 marks).
- Written Test: 100 questions (General English, Aptitude, and General Knowledge) (100 marks).
- Computer Knowledge Test: Objective type (10 marks).
- Interview: 30 marks.

Application Fee:
- General/OBC: ₹1,000
- SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwD/Dependents of Freedom Fighters: ₹250

Test Centers:
Examinations will be conducted in 23 centers across 16 states, including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and more.
