Vacancy & Pay Scale:
Applications are invited for a total of approx. 90 vacant posts.
- Consolidated Remuneration: ₹80,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB or Integrated Law Course) from a recognized institution approved by the Bar Council of India for enrollment as an Advocate.
- Final-year students of a Five-Year Integrated Law Course or the third year of a Three-Year Law Course may apply, subject to furnishing proof of acquiring the degree before joining.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and analysis.
- Familiarity with legal databases like Manupatra, SCC Online, Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.
- Basic computer skills, including retrieving legal data from search engines.
Age Limit (as of February 7, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years
Selection Process:
- Written Examination:
- Part I: Objective Test (Multiple Choice Questions) to assess legal knowledge and comprehension skills.
- Part II: Subjective Written Examination to evaluate writing and analytical abilities.
- Examination centers: 23 cities across India, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and more.
- Interview:
- Candidates shortlisted from the written test will be called for a personal interview.
- Final Merit List:
- Based on performance in the Written Examination and Interview.

- ₹500 (plus applicable bank charges).
- Payment Mode: Online via UCO Bank Payment Gateway on the official Supreme Court website.

- Exam Key Objections: Candidates can raise objections to the Part I exam answer key between March 10, 2025, 12:00 PM, and March 11, 2025, 11:59 PM, for a fee of ₹100 per question.
- Terms of Engagement: The contract is valid for 2025–2026 and may be terminated with notice.
