The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced 261 vacancies for the posts of Stenographer Grade C & D through the SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Exam 2025 notification. SSC Stenographer 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2025)

• Must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board.

Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

• Stenographer Grade C: 18 to 30 years

• Stenographer Grade D: 18 to 27 years

SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2025:

• Grade C: 100 w.p.m. (10 minutes dictation)

• Grade D: 80 w.p.m. (10 minutes dictation)

• Transcription Time (on computer):

  • English: 50 min (D), 40 min (C)

  • Hindi: 65 min (D), 55 min (C)

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Selection Process:

The selection process for Stenographer Grade C & D comprises the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

2. Skill Test in Stenography (Qualifying)

3. Final Merit List

SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern 2025:

• Total Time: 2 hours

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
