The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications for the positions of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to work in various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India.

Exam Dates: October – November 2024 (Exact dates to be notified)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
• Age Limit:
  • Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years
  • Grade ‘D’: 18 to 27 years
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.

Selection Process:

1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE): The exam will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
2. Skill Test: Candidates who qualify in the CBE will be called for the Skill Test in Stenography.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC: ₹100
• SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen/Women: No fee
