SSC MTS and Havaldar Selection Process 2024

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff (in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission), Advertisement No.: E/5/2024-C-2 SECTION (E-9150) a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, NonMinisterial post in various Ministries/Departments/Offices of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/Statutory Bodies/Tribunals, etc., in different States/Union Territories and Havaldar (in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission), a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) under Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.

1. Application Process

• Online Application Submission: Candidates must submit their applications online between June 27, 2024, and July 31, 2024.
• Fee Payment: The last date for online fee payment is August 1, 2024.
• Application Correction Window: Candidates can make corrections to their applications from August 16 to August 17, 2024.

2. Examination Stages

• Computer-Based Examination (CBE): The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts from September 30, 2024, to November 14, 2024. It will consist of objective-type questions.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST): This stage is only for candidates applying for the Havaldar post. Candidates must meet specific physical standards and pass efficiency tests.

3. Document Verification

• Candidates who qualify in the CBE and PET/PST (for Havaldar) will be called for document verification. They must present original documents to verify their eligibility.

4. Final Selection

• The final selection will be based on the performance in the CBE and PET/PST (for Havaldar), subject to meeting all eligibility criteria and document verification.
