The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced 437 vacancies for the posts of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translation Officer (JTO), Senior Hindi Translator (SHT), and Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator) through the SSC Combined Hindi Translators Exam 2025 notification. The SSC JHT Notification 2025 is released on June 5, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for the SSC JHT vacancy from June 05, 2025, to June 26, 2025. 

SSC Junior Hindi Translator Notification 2025 Overview:

SSC JHT Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 437 vacant posts under the SSC JHT Notification 2025 for the following categories:

SSC JHT 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the SSC Combined Hindi Translators Vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

JHT/JTO/Junior Translator (Post Codes A to C):

• Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with the other language as a compulsory/elective subject at the degree level. OR

• Master’s in any subject with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a compulsory subject. AND

• Diploma in translation or 2 years of translation experience in the Govt/PSUs.

Senior Hindi Translator (Post Code D):

• Same as above, with 3 years of experience in translation.

Sub-Inspector (Post Code E):

• Same qualification as JHT
• Height: (Male: 165 cm, Female: 155 cm)
• Chest (Only for Male Candidates): (Unexpanded: 77 cm, Expanded: Minimum 82 cm)

SSC JHT Selection Process:

The selection process for Junior Hindi Translator comprises the following stages:

1. Written Examination

SSC Combined Hindi Translators Exam 2025 Pattern:

The SSC JHT 2025 Exam will consist of two papers:

• Negative marking: 0.25 marks in Paper I

SSC JHT Application Form 2025 Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹100/-

• SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
