The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for direct recruitment to Group B Non-Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Senior Translator for various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: 

• Master’s degree in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
• or Master’s degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
• or Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level;
• or Master’s degree in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules.

Application Process:

1. Online Registration:

• Visit the SSC website and click on “Apply.”
• Register with basic details (name, DOB, email, mobile).
• Receive registration ID and password via email and SMS.

2. Filling the Application Form:

• Log in with your registration ID and password.
• Complete the form with personal and educational details.
• Upload scanned photo and signature.

3. Payment of Application Fee:

• Pay online (credit/debit card, net banking, UPI) or offline (SBI Challan).
• Last date for fee payment: 26.08.2024 (23:00 hours).

4. Submission of Application:

• Review and submit the form.
• Print a copy for future reference.

5. Application Form Correction:

• Make corrections from 04.09.2024 to 05.09.2024 (23:00 hours).

Examination Details:

• Computer Based Examination (Paper-I): Scheduled for October-November 2024.
