The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applications for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2023. This examination is conducted to recruit candidates for various posts in different departments and ministries of the Government of India.

Jobs Positions:

1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)
3. Postal Assistant (PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA)
4. Data Entry Operator (DEO)
5. Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’

Important Dates:

• Start Date: 9th May 2023
• End Date: 8th June 2023

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clerical duties in various government departments.
• Maintain records and files.
• Assist in day-to-day office operations.
• Handle data entry and processing tasks.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must have passed the 10+2 (Higher Secondary) examination from a recognized board.
• Age limit: 18-27 years (age relaxation as per government norms).

Selection Process:

• Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination
• Tier-II: Descriptive Paper
• Tier-III: Skill Test/Typing Test

Important Dates:

• Tier-I Examination: 2nd August 2023 to 17th August 2023
• Tier-II Examination: 2nd November 2023
• Option-cum-Preference submission: 13th February 2024 to 18th February 2024

How to Apply: 

Interested candidates who have appeared in the Tier-II examination are required to submit their Option-cum-Preference for post(s)/department(s) through their respective ‘CANDIDATE LOGIN’ on the SSC website.

Special Instructions:

• Candidates must ensure that they give preference only for those posts that are identified as suitable for their disabilities (for PwBD candidates).
• The Option-cum-Preference(s) can be revised only during the specified period and will be treated as final.
