Selection Process:

1. Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• UR: 30%
• OBC/EWS: 25%
• All other categories: 20%

2. Shortlisting:

• Candidates are shortlisted based on normalized marks in Paper-I for Paper-II.

3. Normalization:

• Marks in Paper-II are normalized if conducted in multiple shifts.
• Electrical and Mechanical Branches are treated as different shifts for normalization.

4. Final Selection:

• Based on performance in Paper-I and Paper-II, and post/organization preferences.

5. Post Allotment:

• No post changes are allowed after allotment if the candidate doesn’t meet post-specific requirements.

6. Reservation Rules:

• SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates selected on merit are not adjusted against reserved vacancies.
• Candidates qualifying on relaxed standards count against reserved vacancies.

7. Eligibility Verification:

• Admission is provisional; final eligibility verification may cancel the candidature.

8. Probation:

• Two-year probation with mandatory training/exams.

9. All India Service Liability:

• Candidates may be required to serve anywhere in India.

10. Language Proficiency:

• Candidates may need to acquire local language proficiency for confirmation.

11. Representation:

• If not selected for subsequent stages despite meeting the cut-off, candidates must represent within two months.

12. Communication:

• If no communication is received within a year of final results, candidates should contact the User Department.

13. Tie Resolution:

• Total marks in Paper-II
• Date of birth (older candidates higher)
• Alphabetical order of names

14. Public Disclosure:

• Scores and rankings of unsuccessful candidates will be published; candidates can opt out of disclosure.

15. No Waiting List:

• No reserve list maintained post-final result.
