Position: Court Master (Shorthand)

Mode of Recruitment: Deputation Basis

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

• A Degree in Law (including BGL/LL.B (Academic)) from a recognized University in India.

2. Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Shorthand with a speed of 120 w.p.m in English.
• Knowledge of Computer Operation with a typing speed of 40 w.p.m on a Computer.

3. Experience:

• Holding analogous posts in the High Court on a regular basis, or
• Minimum 5 years of regular service in the cadre of Private Secretary/Senior PA/PA/Senior Stenographer in High Court.

4. Age Limit:

• The candidate should not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.

Selection Procedure:

1. Shorthand Skill Test:

• Candidates will be subjected to a Shorthand Skill Test in English at the speed of 120 w.p.m. with a maximum of 5% permissible mistakes.

2. Document Verification:

• Candidates who qualify for the Shorthand Skill Test will undergo document verification, including ACRs/APARs of the last 5 years and vigilance clearance.

General Information:

• The period of deputation is initially fixed for one year, and it is extendable up to three years.
• The applications must be forwarded in the prescribed proforma along with ACRs/APARs of the last 5 years and vigilance clearance.
• Applications not received through the proper channel or without supporting documents will not be considered.
