The State Bank of India invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for Specialist Cadre Officer roles. These positions are pivotal in strengthening SBI’s cybersecurity posture and ensuring robust incident response capabilities.

Overview:

Available Positions:

1. General Manager (GM) & Deputy CISO (Infra Security & Special Projects)

• Vacancy: 01
• Age Criteria: 45 to 50 years (as of 30.09.2024)
• Annual CTC: Up to ₹1 Crore (negotiable)

2. Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Incident Response

• Vacancy: 01
• Age Criteria: 38 to 50 years (as of 30.09.2024)
• Annual CTC: Up to ₹80 Lakhs (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

GM & Deputy CISO

• Oversee infrastructure security and lead strategic security initiatives.
• Develop security frameworks for data protection, compliance with DPDP and GDPR.
• Manage security projects for SBI offices and allied entities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for smooth project execution.

DGM – Incident Response

• Lead incident response teams, performing root cause analysis and threat hunting.
• Execute forensic investigations and manage cyber crisis frameworks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and secure configuration scanning.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

• BE/BTech in disciplines such as Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity OR
• MCA/MTech/MSc in related fields.

Preferred Certifications:

• GM: CCSP, CCNP, CISSP, PMP, or equivalents.
• DGM: OSCP, CEH, GCIH, CySA+, or equivalents.

Experience:

• GM: 20+ years in IT/Information Security with at least 10–13 years in infrastructure security.
• DGM: 15+ years in information security with 8–10 years in incident response.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting: Based on qualifications and experience.
2. Interview: 100 marks, qualifying criteria decided by SBI.
3. CTC Negotiation: Finalized with candidates in the merit order.
