SBI is hiring retired bank officials as Financial Literacy Counsellors (FLC Counsellors) and FLC Directors on a contractual basis to promote financial literacy and awareness across India. The roles involve conducting financial education programs, assisting local communities, and supporting digital banking initiatives.

SBI FLC Counsellor & Director Vacancy Details (2025)

Applications are invited for a total of 269 vacant posts under SBI Bank Recruitment 2025 for the following categories:

• • Financial Literacy Counsellors (FLC Counsellor): 238 (Regular) + 25 (Backlog) = 263
  • Financial Literacy Centre Directors (FLC Director): 6 (Regular) 

SBI FLC Counsellor & Director Eligibility Criteria:

1. Financial Literacy Counsellor (FLC Counsellor)

• Eligibility: Retired officers of SBI, Associate Banks of SBI (e-ABs), other public sector banks (PSBs), and regional rural banks (RRBs) in Scale I to SMGS IV. Retired clerical staff of SBI/e-ABs may also be considered if required.
• Age Criteria: Minimum 60 years, Maximum 63 years (as of 28.02.2025)
• Remuneration:
  • Clerical: ₹30,000/-
  • JMGS-I: ₹40,000/-
  • MMGS-II & MMGS-III: ₹45,000/-
  • SMGS-IV: ₹50,000/-

2. Financial Literacy Centre Director (FLC Director)

• Eligibility: Retired Scale III & IV officers from SBI, e-ABs, PSBs, and RRBs.
• Age Criteria: Minimum 60 years, Maximum 63 years (as of 28.02.2025)
• Remuneration: ₹50,000/- per month

SBI FLC Counsellor & Director Selection Process:

The selection process for SBI FLC Counsellor Recruitment 2025 consists of the following:

• Shortlisting: Based on eligibility and experience.
• Interview: 100 marks; qualifying marks to be decided by SBI.
• Merit List: Based on interview scores, with preference given to senior candidates in case of a tie.
