RRC/NR Recruitment Against Scouts & Guides Quota 2024

ONLINE Applications are invited from ELIGIBLE Indian citizens for recruitment of the following posts in Levels 1 & 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC against Scouts and Guides Quota for the year 2024-25 in Northern Railway. The posts are open to all candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-SM/PWD categories who will apply against this notification will be extended relaxation in age limit as admissible in a general open market recruitment. However, in case of being selected with any relaxation on account of being a candidate from the above categories, he/she will be taken against the reserved roster point.

Job Categories and Vacancies:

1. Group ‘C’ (Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC)

Vacancies: 5

Educational Qualification:

• Passed 10+2 or its equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. (50% marks not required for SC/ST/ExSM candidates and those with higher qualifications)

Scouting Qualification:

• President Scouts/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.

2. Group ‘D’ (Level 1 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC)

Vacancies: 20

Educational Qualification:

• 10th Pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Scouting Qualification:

• President Scouts/Guide/Rover/Ranger OR Himalaya Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
• Active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years.
• Attended two events at National level OR All Indian Railway’s level and two events at the State level.

Age Limit:

For Level 2:

• UR: 18 to 30 years
• OBC: 18 to 33 years
• SC/ST: 18 to 35 years

For Level 1:

• UR: 18 to 33 years
• OBC: 18 to 36 years
• SC/ST: 18 to 38 years
