Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway (RRC-NCR) invites ONLINE applications from interested Applicants for engagement as Act Apprentices against the 1679 slots notified for training in the designated Trades under the Apprentice Act 1961 for the year 2024-25.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age:

• Applicants should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on 15/10/2024.
• Age relaxation is applicable as per the following:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • Persons with Disability (PWD): 10 years
  • Ex-servicemen: Additional 10 years plus the length of service rendered in Defence Forces, provided they have put in a minimum of 6 months service at a stretch.

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Must possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

• Applicants can submit their applications ONLINE only on the RRC-NCR website.
• Ensure that you have a valid personal e-mail ID before applying online and maintain that e-mail ID till the end of the engagement process.

Selection Process:

• The selection of Act Apprentices will be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the 10th class examination or its equivalent.
• In case of Direct Recruitment from Open Market to Posts/Categories in Level – 1 (Rs. 18,000/- – Rs. 56,900/-), Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) trained in Railway Establishments and possessing National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) will be given preference in filling up 20% vacancies on qualifying the requisite norms notified by RRB/RRC.
