Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway, invites online applications from serving regular Railway employees of Central Railway (excluding RPF/RPSF personnel) for the position of Staff Nurse under the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) quota.

Educational Qualification:

• Certificate as a Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed 3 years course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a school of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (OR)
• B.Sc (Nursing)

Special Concessions:

• The Indian Nursing Council has laid down certain special concessions for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives, Midwives, and ‘B’ Grade Nurses, by way of reduced course period, etc. Candidates obtaining the qualification prescribed above under these concessions will also be eligible for recruitment.

Age Limit:

• UR: 42 years (Born on or after 01/07/1982)
• OBC: 45 years (Born on or after 01/07/1979)
• SC/ST: 47 years (Born on or after 01/07/1977)

Selection Process:

• The selection will be based on the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) as per the instructions issued by the Railway Board.
