The Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, a premier unit of Indian Railways, invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment against Cultural Quota for the year 2025. Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 2 vacant posts:

• Female Singer: 01
• Classical Dancer (Male/Female): 01

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit (as of 01/01/2025):

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.

Educational Qualifications:

• Passed 12th Class (10+2) or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Candidates with higher qualifications are also eligible.

Cultural Qualification:

• Essential:
  • Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Vocal Music/Dance from a recognized institute.
• Desirable:
  • Experience in cultural performances at national/state-level events.
  • Achievements/awards in related disciplines.

Selection Process:

1. Written Test:
   • General Awareness: 50 Marks
   • Total: 50 Marks
2. Practical Demonstration (Cultural Skill Test):
   • Assessment of talent in Vocal Music or Dance: 35 Marks
   • Testimonials/Experience/Prizes: 15 Marks
3. Total Marks: 100

Application Fee:

• General/OBC: ₹500 (₹400 refundable if the candidate appears for the written test).
• SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: ₹250 (refundable if the candidate appears for the written test).
