The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2024 invites applications for Level-1 (Classes 1 to 5) and Level-2 (Classes 6 to 8) teacher positions. Successful candidates will qualify for teaching positions in Rajasthan schools.

Salary:
- Primary Teacher (Level-1):
- Probation Period Salary: ₹23,700–₹26,000/month
- Post-Probation Salary: ₹37,800–₹41,000/month
- Upper Primary Teacher (Level-2):
- Probation Period Salary: ₹27,500–₹31,000/month
- Post-Probation Salary: ₹44,300–₹48,000/month
Eligibility Criteria:
For Level-1 Teachers (Classes 1–5):
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Senior Secondary (10+2):
- At least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent.
- Senior Secondary (10+2):
- At least 45% marks and passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with the NCTE Regulations, 2002.
- Senior Secondary (10+2):
- At least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Senior Secondary (10+2):
- At least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Graduation:
- Passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent.
Note:
- Special education qualifications must be recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
For Level-2 Teachers (Classes 6–8):
Candidates must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Graduation:
- Passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) or equivalent.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation:
- At least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) program.
- Graduation:
- At least 45% marks and passed a 1-year B.Ed. program in accordance with the NCTE Regulations.
- Senior Secondary (10+2):
- At least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
- Senior Secondary (10+2):
- At least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed. program.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation:
- At least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education) program.
Note:
- Special education qualifications must be recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Candidates with admission to B.Ed./B.El.Ed. programs before July 29, 2011, are exempt from the 50% minimum marks requirement in graduation as per NCTE notification.
Examination Structure:
Level-1 Examination:
- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language I (selected medium of instruction): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language II (different from Language I): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Mathematics: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Environmental Studies: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Total Marks: 150 | Duration: 2.5 hours
Level-2 Examination:
- Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language I (selected medium of instruction): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Language II (different from Language I): 30 questions (30 marks)
- Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies/Social Science (depending on specialization): 60 questions (60 marks)
- Total Marks: 150 | Duration: 2.5 hours
Selection Process:
- Online Application:
- Submit applications on the official website with the required fee.
- Eligibility Verification:
- Candidates’ qualifications and eligibility criteria will be verified.
- REET Examination:
- Conducted in two levels:
- Level-1 for Classes 1–5.
- Level-2 for Classes 6–8.
- Exam is offline, consists of 150 MCQs, and is 2.5 hours long.

- Result Declaration:
- Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks for their category.
- Issuance of REET Certificate:
- Qualified candidates receive a REET Eligibility Certificate valid for lifetime.
- Post-REET Recruitment:
- Separate notifications for teaching positions; selection based on REET scores and government norms (e.g., reservation, document verification).

- Level-1 or Level-2 only: ₹550
- Both Levels: ₹750
