Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 3 vacant posts.

Pay Scale:

• The selected candidates will receive a fixed honorarium of ₹50,000 per month.
• No additional allowances or benefits will be provided as this is a contractual position.
• The honorarium covers all expenses, including transportation and communication.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• A fresh law graduate or postgraduate in law from a recognized university or institution established by law in India.
• Must have basic knowledge of computers.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 33 years as of January 1 of the year preceding the last date for application submission.

Other Requirements:

• Must not be a practicing advocate or engaged in any other professional or remunerative activities.
• Must have an exemplary character certified by two responsible persons.
• Should not have a criminal record or be involved in any pending criminal trial.

Selection Process:

1. Application Screening:
   • Applications will be shortlisted based on academic credentials and qualifications.
2. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Hon’ble Judges to assess their suitability.

Tenure and Contract:

• The position is purely on a temporary contractual basis for an initial period of one year, extendable up to four years or until the Hon’ble Judge’s retirement, whichever is earlier.
• Premature termination or resignation is subject to notice as per the High Court’s policies.

General Instructions:

• This is a full-time position, and Legal Researchers may be required to work outside normal office hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must not disclose any information obtained during their tenure and are barred from practicing before the Judge with whom they were attached for a period of three years post-termination.
• The High Court reserves the right to amend the terms of engagement and recruitment process.
