• Pay Scale: ₹77,840 – ₹1,36,520/- per month (as per Level-10 of the Rajasthan Pay Matrix).

Rajasthan High Court Civil Judge & JM Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification (as of the application deadline)

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university in India.
• Must be eligible to practice law and enrolled as an advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961.
• Final-year law students can apply but must submit proof of qualification before the final selection.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script, Rajasthani dialects, and customs.

Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Rajasthan High Court Civil Judge & JM Selection Process:

The selection process of civil judges and judicial magistrates consists of three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)

• The exam duration will be 2 hours.
• It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
• The maximum mark will be 100.

2. Main Examination (Written Descriptive Test)

• Subjects: Law, Language (Hindi & English), and Essay Writing.
• The main exam is descriptive and evaluates legal knowledge, analytical ability, and writing skills.

3. Interview/Viva-Voce

• Candidates who qualify in the main examination will be called for an interview round.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the main exam & interview.
